“MOST ASSUREDLY, I SAY TO YOU, UNLESS A GRAIN OF WHEAT FALLS TO THE GROUND AND DIES, IT REMAINS ALONE; BUT IF IT DIES, IT PRODUCES MUCH GRAIN”.
(John 12:24)
It’s amazing how God has placed His Message so clearly in Nature for all who honestly observe it with an open heart to know and understand… Seeds don’t just simply grow by themselves; not until the ‘hard exterior’ around them has been softened or broken down in some way, often by extreme natural occurrence.
The seeds that fall from plants and trees in my area, (The Central USA) for example must go through a process known as STRIATION, where their outer husks are softened through the extremes of a cold, harsh winter before they are able to grow. (I can say of myself that I went through a very Cold and Loveless Season of Time in my own life before yielding my heart to Jesus Christ; a time that forced me to really redefine what was truly important in life, and what wasn’t).
Of course we’re not all the same… In tropical areas, many seeds must be swallowed in fruits, and go through the digestive-tract of a bird or forest animal before they can grow… The amino-acids of stomach & intestines breaking down and softening the outer exterior of the seed to make germination possible… God knows there are some of us who just have to go through a lot of, well… ‘stuff’… before we allow His Saving Grace into our lives, and we begin to germinate in the soil of His Love.
There are still other seeds that have such a hard coating on them, that they must actually go through a forest-fire before they can ever germinate and grow to potential, as nothing less than FIRE can break down the outer husk surrounding them!… I wonder what God is trying to tell us with this natural lesson from nature?… BTW, I encourage all of you to do your own personal study on SEEDS, to know that what I have written in this post is all true.
In short, the seeds represent each of US, and we all have the potential to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, accepting God’s Love, and growing to our full Spiritual potential In Him… The trouble is that the hard and callous outer exterior of the things of the flesh, the sinful nature and the pride of this life, must first fall away and die, or WE WILL ABIDE ALONE WITHIN THE PRISON OF THOSE THINGS, AND WILL EVENTUALLY DIE IN SIN, NEVER EVEN KNOWING WHAT REAL LIFE IS!
Jesus went to the Cross for Your Sins, and He wants for you to come to Him, and to Know His Love for you, so that you can know The True Potential that You have been Created for… To know The Peace of God, and The Joy of Eternal Life.
He’s already done His Part to make this possible… The next step is up to you.
